We highly recommend using the current version of the Swarm City DApp at https://swarm.city to create new accounts.
Swarm City version 1 was our first draft and is now considered extinct. However, it is still accessible for those who need to use the ARC to SWT conversion tool until we relocate this feature. This version currently has numerous known bugs and issues, and is not being further developed.
Swarm City developers scrapped version 1 and rebuilt a new and improved version 2 that requires their full attention. Please use version 2 at https://swarm.city for optimal DApp performance.
Users can exchange SWT with any other user.
To send SWT:
*Each wallet containing SWT must also contain ether to cover the gas fee for every transaction.
To receive SWT:
The public address to your wallet is a permanent keystring that CAN be shared with other users safely, viewed on blockchain, and loaded on any wallet platform capable of storing ERC-20 tokens.
The shortcode is a 5 digit temporary code, generated within the Terminal for one time use that CAN be shared with other users, without needing to share the public address. The code expires after a few minutes elapse, and a new one is generated.
The private key is a string of numbers that unlocks /decrypts your wallet. DO NOT share this with other users.
The Swarm City Gas Station is currently being developed to enable users to send SWT without requiring ether for gas.
*Never share your IPFS-hash, private key, or password
